After the (tor)-tour-(e) to the Boiling Lake you can relax visiting The Indian River. Just keep in mind to check first if any cruising ships are at anchor in Roseau or Fort Shirley. If so, put off your visit to The Indian River, because on these days it looks like rushhour in Los Angeles.
In Portsmouth you will easily find a guide, (or he will find you ), and will take you on a trip with a boat. IMPORTANT!! Some guides are using motorboats and the others are using  rowboats. There are three good reasons to choose a rowboat: better for the nature, it doesnot disturb the animals and you can enjoy the trip longer. TIP : ask for James (nickname 007), he impressed us with his explanation of Flora, Fauna and Dominica´s history. He is also the one who can show you the way to the Milton Fall. After appx 30 min you will come to a Jungle Bar where you can get refreshments. From there you also can go for a short walk.
