You can combine the trip to the Boiling Lake with a visit of The Titou Gorge (you will need a refreshment anyway!). The Titou Gorge is situated at the starting point of a trail to the Boiling Lake. It is about 2-3 meters wide and about 20 meters high and there is a stream inside. After swimming 30 meters you can reach a waterfall. Sometimes you can walk through the stream but mostly you have to swimm. Very nice experience, (you will feel like Indiana Jones) and quite refreshing after the Boiling Lake.
