The best address for whalewatching is the Diving Center at Castaways Hotel (south of Salisbury). The chance of seeing whales is 65% and dolphins can be seen Whalewatching anytime (according to our skipper). In fact we saw 12 whales, which was anWhalewatching unforgettable experience, however try not to do it on a full stomach. We don´t get seasick easily, but this time we almost did, because as soon as a whale appeared on the horizon, the boat rushed to this place with fullspeed, regardless of the waves created. The whalewatchingtour is $50 per person and lasts between 4 and 5 hours. An american couple complained that they got wet because of the spray (how can SUCH things happen on a Whalewatchingboat?!).
For your photoequipment waterproof boxes are available on board, so once you`ve reached a whale you can take photos without anyWhalewatching problems.
Tip for persons who get seasick easily: take something (salty !) to nibble on with you.
