Once you are in the Valey of Trois Pitons River (Trafalger Falls, Papillote Wilderness Retreat) you should visit the Sulphur Springs of Wotten Waven. Just follow the street to Wotten Waven and then fork to the unsurfaced road. You cannot miss the pillars of smoke. They don´t come from a fireplace  but from the sulphur springs. Having a 4WD you can stay on this trail and you will come to the mainroad again, right at the Papillote Wilderness Retreat. In spite of the fact that parts of this road look bizarre, you really can drive on  it! You have our word! (at least it was possible September 2000)
